Do you have a showroom I can visit to view your range?

The Faux Flower Company studio is not open to the public. You can however view our blooms first hand by visiting us at one of our regular market locations or a few selected locations from time to time.  Please contact us so we can let you know where you can see our work.

What are your freight/delivery costs?

Ensuring your blooms arrive looking at as beautiful as they did when they left our studio is our priority.  This is why we spend a lot of time and effort packaging your blooms to ensure a safe delivery that’s as much a pleasure to receive as it is to open.

We charge a competitive $15.00 flat rate for shipping – Australia wide.  We reserve the right to quote a surcharge on rural postcodes ordering large, bulky items.  Our goal is to avoid this at all costs but if we do have to exercise this option you can rest assured we’ll be completely transparent with our costs and we will always share the cost.

We work closely with our courier partners to ensure we’re getting both the best service and the best price.

You may request that deliveries be left in an accessible, designated spot at your home if you are out.  These deliveries are the sole responsibility of the customer and no claims will be accepted for lost, stolen or incorrectly delivered orders to residential addresses.

Can I collect my goods in person?

You are more than welcome to arrange collection in person subject to arranging a mutually convenient day and time with the studio.  Please call us prior to placing your order so we can assist you in voiding the freight charges on the order and booking a collection time in the diary.

Note that we offer free local delivery in the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Please call us prior to placing you order.

How true are your colours?

While every effort is made to ensure that all colours are accurately reproduced on our website please bear in mind that your own system may cause variations in colour reproduction.

How do I care for my Faux Flowers?

When it comes to caring for your Faux Flowers, less is more.

We recommend a light dusting of your blooms every now and then with a soft, static duster or, where necessary, a lightly moistened e-cloth on hardier surfaces like orchid leaves.  Our favourite trick is using a hairdryer on a cool, low setting and giving your bouquet or arrangement a light blow-wave.  If you do this every few weeks you’ll be sure to shift any dust that’s settled – safely.

Avoid direct sunlight for extended periods as this can fade colourful blooms over time.

Occasionally a flower head or leaf might come away from the stem.  Whilst our flooms are hardy they’re still delicate in parts to ensure they remain as lifelike in their appearance and movement as possible.  In most cases a head or leaf can pop straight back on. If you find it happens again, consider using a tiny amount of glue to affix it more permanently.

Can I put my bouquet in fresh water?

We would advise you not to. While some artificial stems are water friendly, once they have been trimmed they will have exposed wires at the very ends of the stems which will rust if placed in water. The stems in our bouquets are all trimmed so that they look neat and tidy and sit properly in a vase at the correct height.

If you want to create the look of fresh flowers in water we recommend using water resin. Water resin can be difficult to use so we recommend placing an order for your bouquet to be set in a vase and we’ll do the work for you. Contact us prior to placing an order for us to arrange this.
